all purpose flour

cup
whole wheat flour

teasp
baking soda
½
teasp
salt

cocoa powder
½
cup
brown sugar

instant coffee
powder or grainy
¼
cup
vegetable oil
neutral flavour

Tbsp
coconut oil

apple sauce
unsweetened

Instructions
Preheat oven t 180C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a bowl mix the flours with baking soda, cocoa and salt.
In another bowl mix the rest of the ingredients.
Add the dry mixture into the wet mixture and mix to combine. Do not over mix.
If desired - add chocolate chips.
Create small balls, put on the prepared tray and flatten just a bit using a fork. Bake for 9 minutes.
Let cool on a rack and then store in an airtight container.
Notes
If the dough is too sticky to form balls easily - just let it rest for 10 minutes first.
