What is five spice powder?

Five spice powder is a blend of the following ive spices:

Cinnamon ▪ Fennel ▪ Cloves, ▪ Star anise ▪ White pepper

All of these spices are ground together into a nice and fragrant mix which you can use in many dishes. I find it the most useful in ginger cookies (wow!) and spice cakes and it gives this breakfast bowl a very unique and delicious flavour.

(I use Frontier’s five spice powder which is natural, non GMO, and no chemicals used for the production.

You can get Frontier Co-op’s five spice powder here (and you even get a discount when you use this link or the code BGE7861 at checkout)

How to make this bowl?

It doesn’t get easier than that – you just put everything in the blender, blend for a few seconds to reach the right texture, pour into bowls and add your choice of toppings! In short, it’s super quick and simple. 🍇🍓🍫

The result is tasty, healthy and filling.

And did I mention how nice it is to eat it out of a bowl? 😉 🥥
