Skin & Hair Care : The Oils Your Body Will Love

Did you know that oils are amazing as cosmetic products?

while industrial cosmetics are full of chemicals, some of them dangerous, oils are 100% natural and contain only good things.

Not all oils are the same though, each oil has it’s own properties so different oils are good for different uses.

Some oils can be used straight on the skin as they are, while others are too strong and have to be mixed with another oil as using them by themselves will irritate the skin.

When making your own oil collection, make sure to get at least one oil which can be used as a carrier oil. A carrier oil is a base oil, normally neutral in scent, into which you can mix other oils. Owning a carrier oil is extremely useful as some oils are too strong to be applied straight on the skin and have to be mixed with another oil in order for you to be able to use them safely.

Jojoba oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil and coconut oil are great options for carrier oils.

Building your oils collection? Make sure you get at least one carrier oil

Here are some of the most useful oils that will do wonders to your skin, along with how to use them:

The most interesting fact about jojoba oil is that it’s almost identical to our sebum! That means that it can connect to our skin in a natural way. In places where the sebum is lacking the jojoba oil takes it’s place, and in places where there is too much sebum the oil helps to get rid of the unnecessary sebum. in short, it works great at balancing the skin.

Jojoba oil naturally contains vitamins E + B, Omega 6, antioxidants and iodine and is excellent for so many things! it treats fungal and bacterial infections, helps with anti aging and reduces wrinkles, protects the skin from acne, helps with scars, burns and cuts and even treats dandruff and makes your hair shiny.
